Siena Alabaster Sconce in Blackened Brass
Monolithic brass billets reveal a delicate hand-carved alabaster arch skillfully turned using centuries-old stone carving techniques by master artisans. The distinct pattern in the stone is shaped by millions of years of natural formation in Northern Italy.
Distinguished Italian sculptors like Michelangelo utilized alabaster to highlight the mineral’s translucent quality that emits a warm glow when illuminated.
The Siena sconce can stand alone or be grouped, serving as a primary or secondary light source down a long hallway, above a vanity or as a jewel-box powder room light.
The Siena collection is available in our rich black patina or brushed brass. Custom finishes or finish match are available by request.
