The Lucca pendant is the largest stone in our offering, showcasing the remarkable skills of our Italian artisans through a 16” diameter. From mining the solid stone block, to hand-carving the form, it is truly, undoubtedly, a remarkable feat.
Much like marble, our alabaster undergoes millions of years of formation in the hills of Northern Italy and it's the very nature of the stone that shapes its pattern. This pattern is only revealed through a traditional hand-carving process that dates back to 1895.
Distinguished Italian sculptors like Michelangelo utilized alabaster to highlight the mineral’s translucent quality that emits a warm glow when illuminated. The depth in the alabaster permeates its surroundings with an ethereal intensity.
The Lucca pendants can stand alone or be grouped, serving as a primary or secondary light source in an entry, tracing a staircase, over a table or kitchen island.
Custom chandelier installations are designed for both desired dimensions and number of pendants.
The Lucca collection is available in our signature rich black patina or brushed brass. Custom finishes or finish matching are available by request.
